Kempten University started in 1978 with only 82 students. Until today, the University has grown to accomodate over 6.000 students in 32 different degree programs. Particular important aspects for the University are a practice-oriented education as well as an international orientation. The University has about 80 partner universities abroad. The main faculties are Business Administration, Electrical Engeneering, Computer Science, Mechancial Engeneering, Social and Health Studies and Tourism Management.
